Al Mahalla's Situation

The situation in Greater Mahalla moved rapidly from bad to worse after reportedly the death of a protestor and child. The well-known labor city appears involved in a war…demonstrations are everywhere while the security personnel are staying on the other side to suppress demonstrators with a rising number of injured protestors and victims. Some news was reportedly circulated about firing the demonstrators with live ammunition. Now the labor city appears drowning in darkness, the sky is full of smoke clouds. Immediately after the pictures appeared in the Egyptian 6 o'clock news bulletin of some people setting fire in buildings, Al Mahalla residents denied and said that those subverts are people who have criminal records and did what they did, including assaulting on demonstrators, under police coverage.
